All my decorations from Walmart that I bought before we moved home came in handy and really looked nice.
This is how our porch looked. We happen to have an American neighbor so we invited him and his Swedish wife. Everyone seemed to have a great time. C was responsible for the burger flipping by the grill. He did an excellent job.
I love that this porch is able to seat so many people. We were approximately 15 grown ups and 5 kids. People brought plenty of both beer and wine so now we have more than ever. Our idea was to clear out as much as possible as our move is coming up but we definitely failed when it came to the beer and wine. C is going sailing with some of his friends in two weeks so we will bring as much beer for that sailing as possible.
We also grilled corn on the cob. I love the hickory BBQ sauce from Publix that we still had a bottle of. The Jim Beam mustard was pretty good. The American burger dressing that is ironically not American at all. That dressing does not even exist in the US but Swedes love it and think it is American.
