When C was gone on his ski trip I took the advantage of watching all the movies I wanted to see which he might not be as into as me. I liked the movie "Eat, Pray and Love". Of course the book always has more depth but I think that the movie was not too bad at all. It met my expectations.
Movies. I have when C has been away seen quite a lot of movies. I have both rented DVDs as well as gone to the movies. I sort of entered movie mode during the past week. I had not gone to the movies in ages and all of a sudden I went to see two movies at the movie theater in one week. First I went to see the movie "127 hours" about this guy that gets stuck by a rock out in a slot canyon in Utah. He finally cuts off his arm because that is the only way he will survive. I had my doubts about going to see it. I was afraid it was going to be too disgusting but it was not that bad. It takes place exactly where me and C went this past summer. It is filmed out there in Arches and Canyonlands national parks in Utah.
After finishing the book " Eat, Pray and Love" I wanted to get the second part of the story which is continued in the book called "Committed" I know it says " A love Story" but it is so much more than just a simple love story. It falls somewhere between fiction and facts. It is about the life of Liz Gilbert again. It also brings up many interesting facts and history about the marriage. In the previous book she met a guy and in order for him to stay in the US she is forced to marry him. She has to get over her fears of marriage considering her first marriage ended in a very bad way.
I also read this book by Elisabeth Gilbert. It is a biography about Eustance Conway that is really a very interesting character in so many ways but also quite a difficult and very complex person. He has a strength that few people have but that very strength is also his downfall in many ways.

Then I also went to see "Black Swan" that I loved. I rented the movie " The Social Network" about the guy that invented Face book. I think it was also a good movie. Yet another movie that I can recommend is one called "Mother and Child". A very nice movie that really touches your heart in so many ways.

Kram!
Moviegirl, you!
Kramar!!
