This Week

It will be a short working week. Tomorrow we head off for Italy, yay! So exited about this trip.

Days are getting both colder and shorter. I spent time with my camera these past couple of days taking pictures of Stockholm using the transitions in light. Love the soft colors that come across the sky during dawn and dusk. The picture above is one that I took this very morning on my way to work. Soon (it makes med sad to say) it will be dark both when I go to work and when I am on my way home.

The past days have been beautiful with clear blue skies and plenty of sunshine. Today the rain arrived. As I look out now it really feels like fall. The kind of weather were you just want to curl up with a soft blanket in the couch and watch a good movie or a big cup of your favorite tea.

Here are some other pictures that I took of the canal between the south side of the city and the part where we live. Using the last light of the day and using the rail of the bridge to steady my camera. I love the soft light that is captured on these three following pictures.

The full moon added another interesting light source in these pictures as well as the reflections cast in the water.

A last picture of Stockholm as the sun is setting just before 6 pm. Well I leave y'all with these pictures and head off for Italy. Have not decided if I am going to bring my computer or not. So there may be a short blog break. Back on Monday next week.
