Pumpkins and more pumpkins

Halloween here can never be or compare really to Halloween in the States but there is a hint of Halloween in the air anyway which makes me happy. Pumpkins are turning up. This laughing face met greeted me as I walked to the deli Fine Foods.

Lots of pumpkins in the grocery stores. Since the Swedish kids may not know that it is Halloween on Monday and that is the day when you do go trick or treating and not this weekend or next weekend we still made sure to buy some candy so that we would have some in case there would come some kids knocking on the door.

Saturday was nice and sunny. We did some grocery shopping. We also tried to find a birthday present for my dad whom had his birthday earlier in October but we are heading out to my parents today to celebrate both his and my birthday. In the evening we cooked something nice, lit the candles, enjoyed a good bottle of wine. We also called our dear friends in Alabama and talked for quite a while, laughing at each others stories and catching up.

He, he

Kram

Kram!
