Lot's of beautiful roses. I walked around smelling the various kinds. I suddenly remembered our beautiful rose bushes outside of our house in Alabama that would bloom several times during the summer.
There are lots of stuff that you find here that you did not find at plant nurseries in Alabama. Many many different kinds of fruit trees. There are so many different kinds of just apple trees. Lingonberries. I did not know that you could have them in your yard. Rubarb, rubarb cobbler or paj is darn good. Gooseberries is something that I never ever saw in Alabama. Never saw them in any store or at any kind of farmers market. If we do have a yard later on in the future there is just so much stuff I would like to have. Many different kinds of berries and fruits.
Zetas is more than just a plant nursery. They have a fantastic coffee shop and small restaurant that serves simple but great lunch and snacks. The whole place is filled with small details that just make it very cozy and beautiful. They have various different kinds of lights hung in the trees, wind chimes creating soft tunes in the wind. You certainly get that green spa feeling here.
If you love candles and candle holders they have an amazing selection. I bought a scented candle that had a mixed scent of honey and wild oats that just smells divine.
This little plant was pretty cool. I think it is called Japanese lanters. The orange flowers sure look like small lanterns.
They had various kinds of blueberry bushes as well. You can have the American big blueberries here in your yard as well. We actually bought a blueberry bush in Alabama and planted in our garden. However we did not get to taste a single blueberry because the birds took them all before we had a chance to pick any of the ripe berries off the bush. Mini-kiwi fruits was totally new to me. Did not know that kiwis could be grown here at these northern latitudes.
They had a whole shed with just different kinds of bulbs. I think the name is kind of funny in Swedish as it translates directly into "onion house". I love tulips and daffodils but digging down the bulbs is kind of boaring.
A very pleasant visist. Plants and flowers just fill your soul with such a special feeling of joy.
