Some times it is the small things that make all the difference. The small things that fill your heart with happiness. My happiness today was clear blue skies and sunshine as well as a yummy breakfast to start the day off.
Me and C took the opportunity to enjoy the sunshine by taking a nice walk around in our neighborhood. The one thing that I like the most about living here in Hammarby sjostad is living so close to the water.
I still Swedes are crazy to have coffee outside when it is winter. We passed this couple sitting outside this coffee shop. No it is not just the smokers sitting outside. I almost feel sorry for the ducks having to swim around in the cold water among the ice flakes.
We had a nice walk enjoying the sunshine and the views of water.
In the afternoon we drove off to my sister in law to meet both of C's cousins. We had a nice time catching up and having coffee and blueberry cake. It has been a nice and a good Sunday.
Härligt med en så vacker dag! Här har det varit mulet hela dagen, utom i morse när vi hade en vacker soluppgång. Stockholm ÄR verkligen vackert när solen skiner.
ReplyDeleteHaha, folk är likadana i Istanbul, de kan sitta ute och fika mitt i vintern också. Fast där värmer solen lite mer än den gör här, även om det är snö.

Marianne, ja man är ju inte direkt bortskämd med att solen lyser så här års så det känns underbart. Jag tycker det ser nästan exotiskt ut med folk som sitter ute även om det är kallt och fikar men interessant att veta att de gjorde så även i Istanbul.

Vilken härlig dag! Det är verkligen såna små saker som ibland ger den största glädjen. Snart kommer jag nog också göra som det där paret o fika utomhus, för det är inte helt lätt med barnvagn överallt! :) Men snö o minusgrader är inte ultimat för en utefika, enligt mig iallafall... ;)
ReplyDeleteMarie, ja det blev en riktigt nice dag. Det är ju helt ok att fika utomhus bara man klär sitt rätt så att man slipper frysa. Kan ju faktiskt vara smart om man har en barnvagn vilket gör att det inte är helt lätt att ta sig in överallt.

ReplyDeleteVi åkte till Cleveland tennessee för att fixa hans fingeravtryck, det ligger nära Chattanooga. Vi är vana att köra den vägen eftersom hans föräldrar bor i kentucky. Så vi får alltid en fin resa i bergen! =)
Om Jason får jobb i tennessee så ska vi leta efter någonstans att bo. Vi tycker Smyrna är fint, ligger 10 min utanför Nashville. Och då kommer vi bo 1 timme ifrån hans föräldrar vilket är bra!
Vi åkte faktist upp till hans föräldrar i lördags lite spontant och stannade tills igår. Mysigt men tråkigt att åka hem sen. Tar ju 6 timmar.
Vi var även i Helen Georgia. Har du varit där? det är som "little germany". Jättemysig liten stad. jag ska lägga upp lite bilder på bloggen snart!
Vad kul att du har varit där vi ska gifta oss. Det är alltid kul att höra vad andra tycker om det stället och alla säger att det är underbart!!
